Holiday Feast/Gearing Up for Break

Yesterday afternoon a lot of staff members got together at a teacher's apartment for a big holiday feast. Since most everyone was off traveling on Thanksgiving, no big dinner was ever thrown. So, this one made up for that and I guess counted towards Christmas and any other religious holidays members might be celebrating (Festivus, perhaps?).

We brought a big bowl of stuffing as well as eight or so baked cloves of garlic and some crackers. We thoroughly stuffed ourselves on appetizers, main dishes, and dessert. It was fun hanging out with everyone and watching the football games on TV. Due to our over-eating, we tapped out at 3 to head home and ease our distended stomachs with some stretching out on the couches.

We're down to the last week before break. My workload has tapered off since I will be unable to do any more work after Friday. Now I'm just trying to finish up projects that are still in progress. Beth and I are eager for the weekend as we'll be flying out early Saturday morning to Honduras for a week of scuba diving/certification on the island of Roatan. We'll return to Guatemala City on Saturday, the 15th, and have all of Sunday to pack up for our flight back to the States on Monday morning.

We can't wait to see all of you, and we'll be home soon!
